Can you tell I had wrapping Christmas gifts in mind when I was making these lovely papers?
You can choose whatever colours, stencils, patterns that you like, for any occasion! I think this technique would make beautiful papers for decoupage on furniture or covering old books, even as art/home decor. I hope this video gets your creative juices flowing!
Did you see my last post on making your own stamp and using it to create custom papers too? Click here to check it out. Here’s a peek at how my stamped paper turned out. I’m loving the rustic texture and two tone green, what do you think? I used Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan in Amsterdam Green and Olive . My roller was loaded with both paint colours at the same time, can you see the green variation in the trees? I love playing with multiple colours on a roller like this.
